30 Hour Famine
Preparation:
Eat lunch at school on Friday then begin your fast. We will break the fast at CiCi's pizza - bring money for this meal.
Parents can pick you up at CiCi's at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. We will take all of your bags with us.
Please bring:
Sleeping Bag/Pillow
Toiletries
Work Clothes
Work Gloves
Bible
Money for a meal to CiCi's

30 Hour Famine is a 30 hour food fast in which we get a small glimpse of what people all over the world go through on a regular basis; not out of choice, but out of necessity. We go without food to pray for God's power and to raise money for World Vision. World Vision gives the money we raise to countries that are in need. In the past, we have done activities on this overnight such as car washes, collecting food and items for the Salvation Army, giving out candy at stop lights, helping people move into apartments, praying at the schools, and watching videos of other ways to help. |
